Link a bank

Optional, read-only connections. You can also add accounts by hand.

Linking is optional. Credentials go to the linking partner and your bank — never to Polaris. Access tokens live in the iOS Keychain on your devices.

Start from Accounts or the welcome screen. If an institution will not appear or will not finish, check Connection status before assuming Polaris is broken. Many outages are on the institution’s side and already listed.

After the first sync, glance at balances and run first-month setup so Ready to Assign is based on real cash.
