First launch: explore with sample data, or subscribe to add your own accounts. Try it free for 2 weeks, then $9.99/month or $79.99/year.
Polaris is an envelope budget on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. It is for a normal household — a paycheck, rent or a mortgage, groceries, a card. There is no Polaris account to create. Your books live on your devices and, if iCloud Drive is on, in your iCloud.
Two honest ways in
- Explore with sample data. Walk every tab with a fictional book. Nothing you do here is your money. Turn demo mode off in Settings when you are ready.
- Add your own accounts — a subscription. Try it free for 2 weeks, then $9.99/month or $79.99/year. Link a bank (optional and read-only) or add accounts by hand.
Then set the first month
The guided setup asks you to pick a start month, glance at balances, and tell us how each credit card is used (pay in full vs carry). That is what makes Ready to Assign trustworthy. See First-month setup.
