The app will not open

Restore a backup. Never delete the store to “fix” it.

If Polaris cannot open the book, use Settings → Data & iCloud → Restore on a previous good backup (you may need to reinstall first). Do not delete the iCloud folder or the last backup to make a red screen go away — that is how years of data disappear.
